All registered attendees who cancel by November 26 will receive a full refund.
Cancellations after November 26 will be charged a $500 cancellation fee.
Cancellations after December 3 will NOT receive a refund.

Block Party | Tuesday, Dec. 18 | 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Last night’s event was just a taste of San Diego - tonight will be the whole bite! With the Historic Gaslamp District as our backdrop, you will be welcomed to our exclusive block party, designed in partnership with Marriott Rewards, SPG and Ritz-Carlton Rewards. You will indulge on beverage & food from restaurants unique to the Gaslamp District, while enjoying live entertainment, Omnia Nightclub, and plenty of fun. We are excited to announce that Fitz & The Tantrums will be performing at our Block Party! This is one party you won't want to miss!

Afterglow | Tuesday, Dec. 18 | 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM

The party isn’t over yet! It’s time to roll up your sleeves and join us for a nightcap (or two) while we reminisce on the excitement of the last few days. With space to explore and mischief to be managed, this evening is the time to roll the dice, make a few bets, and where the only topic worth debating is whether it’s better neat or on the rocks.

Indian Cuisine By One Of The Best!

Throughout the week, our meals will feature Indian food from Chef Kiran Patnam, the man who beat Bobby Flay. Amazingly, this is only one of the accolades he can list on his impressive resume. Each year our planning team, along with an owner focus group, takes great care to integrate Indian cuisine into the CONNECT Conference and partner with a talented chef to bring it to you.

In addition to winning the Beat Bobby Flay cooking competition by Food Network in 2018, Kiran carries 14 years of culinary knowledge, in a variety of cooking techniques that infuse his take on modern culinary art to couple visual presentation and comfort flavors together. He has tenured at several different Marriott properties and brands across Asia and the United States including: The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, and Gaylord, expanding his skill and refining his quality of service for our guests. Chef Kiran has experience with Indian, Japanese, French, and American cuisine.

A legacy in our company with 50 + years of culinary experience from across the globe, Chef Ben has an unprecedented breadth of regional exposure from Tunisia, Brazil, and Hawaii to many cities across the U.S. His training and passion for culinary began at a young age under the influence of his grandmother, a French trained Chef who cooked at the legendary Breakers in Newport, RI, and he ultimately attended the renowned Johnson & Wales University. Chef Ben has worked for Renaissance, Marriott, Stouffers, Intercontinental, Hyatt, and several recognized hotels, including US Grant (CA), Castle Hill Inn (RI), and Hotel Plaza Corniche (Tunisia). In his current role since 2007, Chef Ben has led the dynamic culinary team at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina through a transformation that has placed them amongst the best in the brand.

The conference dress is casual and jeans are welcomed.
